Haunted Houses
Manslaughter Manor
Location: Southwest Territory Debut: 2012 "This manor tucked away in the Southwest Hills has the reputation for being cursed. A group of supernatural investigators have been brought in to try and capture evidence of this curse and they are giving tours of the house during the Halloween season while their investigation is proceeding. Only the brave will survive the haunted hallways of Manslaughter Manor, while the weak will succumb to the terror that has surrounded the house throughout it's history. This manor tucked away in the Southwest Hills has the reputation for being cursed. A group of supernatural investigators have been brought in to try and capture evidence of this curse and they are giving tours of the house during the Halloween Season while their investigation is proceeding. The townsfolk of Southwest Hills believe it is cursed due to a history of deaths related to the house. While the house was being built in the late 60s, there was a ceiling collapse that killed a workman and his apprentice, but their bodies were never found. The manor stayed until the Chadwick family bought the house. Mrs. Chadwick, killed the maid who visited once a week with poison, but it was ruled an accident by the police. Several weeks later after an argument, Mr. Chadwick was shot by his wife in the living room. Mrs. Chadwick then took her own life in the bathroom by slitting her throat in a water filled tub. The house was turned over to the bank where it stayed empty for years. In the late 80’s, a young real estate investor purchased the Manor, finding charm in its classic design. It had fallen into bad shape and he made every effort to fix it up, but progress was slow. Neighbors believed he was just a tinkerer trying to fix it up in his spare time because he only showed up occasionally, stayed for a few weeks, and then left again. One day a teen girl who went missing showed up and killed him with his own hammer before escaping the house and notifying the police. Once the house was searched, the bodies of 6 girls were found in the basement, all found with their insides spilled across the ground. It was found out that over the course of about 10 years, he had been kid-napping these girls, bringing them to the house, keeping them locked up and eventually killing them. Today the house is now owned by the bank and has lain vacant for years…. The townspeople are convinced it is haunted and that the ghost of the homes past will kill anyone who lives there. The supernatural investigators are here to try and find out the truth about the talk from the townsfolk that the house is haunted or cursed. Dare to follow them inside?" |
Massacre Medical Center
Location: Across from Revolution "This decrepit hospital was rumored to be vacated of patients and doctors years ago after the great patient revolt and massacre of 1975. Just recently passers by the hospital have heard noises and seen light in the building. Who inhabits the hospital, how did the massacre conclude? Only a visit to the hospital will tell. Enjoy a nighttime tour of the asylum — originally known for its innovative techniques, but now remembered for the night the insane inmates ran wild and attacked everyone in sight. The local asylum housed the most precise lobotomy doctors, the most understanding therapists, and the most insane patients. The residents felt like they were treated like prisoners, locked in their empty rooms most of the day and forced to follow strict schedules. They became angry and often looked for ways to riot against the staff. On a stormy night during a group therapy session, a lightning strike hit the facility and caused a power outage throughout the building. All the lights went dark, computer systems crashed, and automatic room locks opened, giving all the patients a chance to overpower the workers and escape. The inmates rebelled against the staff, seeking revenge for locking them up in the clinic. They grabbed scalpels and scissors from the operating rooms and roamed the halls of the asylum. Every therapist, doctor, security guard, and staff member was caught and tortured in the dark corridors. The maniacs sliced into their faces and bodies as blood sprayed along the walls and pooled on the floor. Some staff members died from their pain and wounds, while others were left permanently disfigured. All the murderous psychiatric residents managed to escape to the theme park across the street. Some people believe they still wander the property, searching for “normal” people to attack, dissect, or disfigure." |

The Uprising
Nox summons them to meet you...This is not your typical parade. This is the rising of the dead. It was time for the neighborhood Halloween parade. Everybody was invited to dress up in their spookiest costumes and wander the streets. However, one year, this innocent parade turned deadly. The Hunters, the new family in town, were the best-dressed group in the parade. Their pale white faces, torn dirty clothes, and blood-red eyes looked so real, the spectators could only stare wide-eyed at the spectacle in front of them. Halfway through the parade route, Mr. Hunter veered off the parade path and headed towards the unsuspecting audience. He ripped their bodies to shreds while his wife ate their brains. But the victims didn’t die. Their skin peeled away from their bones, the color drained from their faces, and their teeth extended into sharp fangs. The chosen audience members had transformed into one of these ghoulish zombies. At first glance, it looks like just another Halloween parade, but is just another zombie trap? |

RIP Haunts
Necropolis: Haunted City of the Dead
Location: Picnic Grove - Yukon Territory Type: Scare Zone "Unlike any city you've ever visited. BEWARE! The zombies have taken over our Picnic Grove and turned it into Necropolis: Haunted City of the Dead. A zombie infection has taken over the city of Necropolis. Blood-thirsty members of the undead and other evil creatures lurk throughout the city with several scouring the area for their next meal. Dare to enter Necropolis but proceed with caution. No one’s entirely sure of the cause. The only thing that is known for sure is that the zombie infection began with Necropolis resident, Marcus Bishop. At first Marcus just assumed he’d come down with a stomach bug. None of his favorite foods were appealing anymore and his mind was growing increasingly hazy. Slowly he started forgetting things he’s always known. It wasn’t long before he discovered he wasn’t interested in eating his normal foods but he was definitely hungry. When his wife returned home one night, he realized exactly what it was he was craving…brains. He bit into his wife and started tearing her apart. She was dead in seconds. She lay in a pile on the floor, brains completely removed. Marcus knew nothing of what happened other than that he wanted more. As he headed to the door, his wife stood up and began to walk to the door as well. Now, she too, wanted brains. They set out in separate directions biting into anyone they came into contact with. With every bite their zombie army grew by more one. With no brains, they also had no fear. They ran wild on the town solely on instinct. Their one objective was to keep eating brains. The human population dropped faster with each passing day. Within a week, the living were the minorities of Necropolis. With no option but to quarantine the town, the remaining humans were considered acceptable losses by the government and trapped inside. The zombies remain locked in Necropolis but their food supply ended a long time ago. They’re really hungry." |
Port Dread

In what is now known as Port Dread, these dark, sea-faring souls are marooned and restless; pillaging docks, marauding shops, and dragging living witnesses out to sea." |
Sector 7
Location: Hometown Square Type: Scare Zone "A terrible industrial accident resulted in all of the residents turning into zombies. The town was cut off from the rest of the world and labeled Sector 7. No one from the outside world knows what is behind the gates to the town... until now. Prior to the town’s disappearance most of the adults living there worked for the local waste facility. Nobody batted an eye when black trucks filled with sludge arrived. Sludge was sludge. But sludge was different. It oozed. It gurgled. It destroyed every piece of equipment it came in contact with. It burned through the main chemical junction and caused all of the caustic acids in the disposal plant to flow together. The plant exploded. Green and brown chemicals rained from the sky. About a week later the people of the town began to change. Their arms grew longer. Their faces melted. Their bodies contorted. They remained…alive…but not human. Their brains and their minds scrambled. They were overtaken by a fierce hunger. The first wave of government men who arrived died so painfully and were eaten so quickly that a second wave was never planned. The town was sealed up — locked down by a massive 30 ft. concrete wall. The property that the town sits on was renamed “Sector 7.” This all took place 20 years ago. It was assumed that the original residents of the town must be dead…until last week." |
